Today we're back my jade that I started from a leaf back in 2018
0:08
If you've watched the last video on this tree you'll know I've nearly killed it three times already
0:14
Which is why we're now looking at two sad little cuttings in this small pot
0:17
There's not much to say in this video apart from after making these two cuttings last year I just kind of left them alone and let them root and grow freely
0:26
I literally did nothing to them. So there's not going to be a lot going on here, apart from some good solid growth
0:37
They live under the Mars HydroGrolites, and you'll see the growth is pretty good, it's really compact and really strong
0:43
It's literally perfect. Both cuttings seem to have taken really well, so at some point next spring I'll have to repot them both and try and separate them out
1:10
I will keep one in this small pot and I'll try and find the space for a bigger pot for the other one
1:16
See if I can just leave it to beef up as much as it once. Although big jades are often just seen as nothing special and basically just houseplants I do have quite a soft spot for them
1:39
So I'm pretty happy I accidentally nearly drowned these trees last year. And now I've ended up with two, so it was definitely a happy accident
1:51
You can see these two are really grown like crazy, and they're definitely back to full health
2:04
I know some of you think I prune too aggressively sometimes, but clearly here my patience is extreme
2:21
I won't do anything to these until at least springtime. Here they are now, looking a hundred times better than I did the start of the video
2:34
Only a short one the day but sometimes not much happens in this hobby for a while
2:39
Thanks for watching, see you next time
